An ultraviolet light is then used to harden the bonding.
Once the material has sufficiently hardened, the dentist can go back and trim it further to the perfect fit. The final step is polishing to transform the bonding to the same pearly sheen as your teeth.
The entire composite bonding process can usually be completed in less than an hour. It is important to note that your bonding is susceptible to staining. To avoid this, try to minimize exposure to stain causing foods and beverages and brush your teeth regularly.
